GOLDEN MOTOR-GUARD

Spectro Golden Motor-Guard incorporates a blend of diester/PAO synthetics and petroleum-based oils with advanced additive technology to yield excellent performance in the SH sequence tests (the American Petroleum Institute's most recent quality standard), particularly those pertaining to wear and oxidation.  All the Spectro Golden Motor-Guard formulations possess low volatility and high film strength, and outperform conventional mineral oils in today's smaller, hotter running, higher-RPM engines, which place additional demands upon their lubricants.
Spectro Golden Motor-Guard is carefully blended to provide improved fuel economy by reducing internal engine friction and provides the ideal solution to the high-temperature lubrication coking problems associated with turbo-charged, high performance automotive engines.  Its complex synthetic formulation creates a film strength superior to that provided by the heaviest petroleum-based oils and offers internal engine cleanliness previously unattainable.

Diesel-Guard can be used interchangeable among Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Mack and all major European diesel engines, as well as gasoline engines.  It is truly a universal engine oil for fleet operations.  The 15w 40 multi-grade is approved by Mack for EOK-2 service and meets the requirements of International Harvester for gasoline engines used in trucks and construction equipment and Ford M2C 153-B and GM 6048-M.  A mono-grade SAE 30 is available that meets the C-3 torque fluid requirements of the Detroit Diesel, Allison Division of General Motors, as well as Daimler-Benz pages 226.1 and 227.1.

Spectro Golden Gear Lubricants are ideal for two-stroke motorcycle transmissions where a wet clutch is used.  Use in transmissions or chain-cases where an S.A.E. 10w30 or 10w 40 motor oil is recommended.  In instances where an S.A.E> 75w, 80w, 85w or 90w gear oil is recommended, Spectro Golden may be used provided it is not a hypoid gear or differential application.  Use Spectro Hypoid Gear Lubricant where GL-5 fluids are specified.  Never add a gear lubricant to an engine oil reservoir!
